The Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA) announced several key Board appointments as they continue to strengthen their leadership team and advance the mission of athletics in Bermuda.

The BNAA are delighted to confirm the following roles:

Dage Minors – Vice President
Syriah Lottimore – General Secretary
Karen Tucker – Treasurer
Susan Robinson – Assistant General Secretary
Ruby James – Director

These appointments complement the recent election of Jarita Vickers as President, marking a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to supporting athletes, coaches, officials, and the wider athletics community.

President Vickers said, “In alignment with our renewed focus, the Board has established several committees that will play an integral role in shaping the future of the Association. We will soon be seeking volunteers from our affiliate groups and the broader membership to participate in the following committees:

Fundraising & Sponsorship Committee
Marketing & Public Relations Committee
Athlete Relations Committee
Coaches Committee
Technical Officials Committee
Road Racing Committee
Youth Development Committee (Kids’ Athletics)

Anyone interested in volunteering for a committee should email us at athleticsbda@gmail.com”

The 2025 BNAA Cross Country Championships will take place on December 6th at 8:30 a.m. at the Government House Grounds, and we are excited to welcome participants of all ages—from 5 to 70+. Registration is now open on trackie.com, and full details along with a QR code can be found in the attached flyer.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce a brand-new 800m race for our youngest competitors aged 5–7, ensuring even more opportunities for families to get moving together. Whether you’re joining us competitively or simply for fun, the focus is on community, participation, and enjoyment.

Prizes will be awarded to the BNAA XC Series winners, the champions crowned on race day, and, for the first time, the schools with the highest entries in the Primary, Middle, and High School divisions.
