Ralph Scott and his IMG Academy Varsity Basketball teammates opened their non-conference schedule with back-to-back dominant victories, showcasing their high-scoring potential at home and on the road.
The IMG Ascenders first secured a massive home win against Forges Academy with a final score of 73-25. The match was effectively decided by halftime, with the score already standing at 54-11, leaving Forges Academy little chance of recovery. The dominant victory gave IMG a positive start to their campaign.
They followed that up with another high-scoring performance on the road, defeating the Northeast varsity basketball team by a score of 99-58. The back-to-back wins, including the two significant margins of victory, highlight the Ascenders' offensive depth and defensive strength early in the season.
Scott, who is one of Bermuda's most promising Basketball athletes, is a key prospect who recently committed to the University of Tennessee.
