Bermuda's junior cycling team has made a sensational start at the 2025 Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships in Barbados, with the island's riders earning multiple podium finishes in the opening Individual Time Trial (TT) events.

Charlotte Millington led the charge, capturing the Gold Medal in the Junior Female Time Trial clocking a time of 17:45, a testament to her power and precision against the clock. Her teammate, Skye Ferguson, completed a fantastic day for Bermuda, securing the Bronze Medal in the same category stopping the clock in 19:55, giving the island a double podium finish.

The success continued in the Juvenile Men’s event, where Jacob Wright raced to a strong third-place finish, adding another medal to Bermuda’s impressive tally.

In the Junior Male Time Trial Keon Stevens finished 14th clocking a time of 27:54

Team Manager and Coach Peter Dunne expressed his pride in the team's performance. "These results highlight the incredible determination and talent of our junior riders," he said. "We're proud to see them competing against the region’s best and showing that Bermuda belongs at the top level."

The championships, hosted by the Caribbean Cycling Union, will continue tomorrow with the Road Race, where Bermuda's riders will once again represent the island with pride and determination.
