Bermuda Athletes Feature Strongly in NACAC Rankings

While the Bermuda Pacers Track Club continues to celebrate its impressive medal haul from the recent Flying Angels International Track & Field Championships – comprehensive coverage of which was provided daily by IslandStats.com – attention now turns to the updated North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) rankings.

These updated lists highlight Bermuda's continued presence among the region's elite across various disciplines.

Men's Division:

Nirobi Smith-Mills (800m): Currently ranked 24th in the Men's 800m with a strong time of 1:49.47.
Jake Brislane (1500m): Holds the 28th spot in the 1500m, clocking a time of 3:53.20.
Lamont Marshall (10000m): The veteran distance runner is ranked 25th at the 10000m distance with a time of 31:14.83.
Bermuda Men’s 4x100m Relay: The quartet of Denver Tucker, Norre Robinson, Miles Outerbridge, and Suresh Black combined for a time of 40.41 seconds, placing them 15th in the regional rankings.
Jah-Nhai Perinchief (Triple Jump): Bermuda's top jumper is ranked an impressive 6th in the Triple Jump with a top leap of 16.86m.
Women’s Division:

Caitlyn Bobb (400m): Her national record time of 51.11 seconds in the 400m earns her the 15th spot on the list, demonstrating her elite speed.
Shayla Cann (800m): Is currently holding down the 22nd spot in the 800m with a time of 2:07.89.
Sakari Famous (High Jump): Her commanding leap of 1.85m sees her ranked a strong 11th in the High Jump, following her recent national record performance.
Tiara DeRosa (Discus Throw): DeRosa’s record-breaking discus throw of 50.07m sees her on the list in the 21st position, also achieving a 2026 Commonwealth Games qualifying standard.

These updated NACAC rankings underscore the significant talent and competitive spirit present within Bermudian athletics, with athletes consistently performing at a high level across various events on the regional stage.
