Pacers Dominate Flying Angels Championships Day Two

Bermuda Pacers Track Club athletes have concluded their outstanding campaign at the Flying Angels International Track & Field Championships, with a remarkable performance on Day Two at the York University’s Track and Field Center in Toronto, Ontario.

The young Bermudian contingent added a significant haul of 19 medals including 12 Gold, 6 Silver, and 1 Bronze, particularly in the middle-distance and relay events, showcasing their talent across various age groups and disciplines.

Gold Medal Performances:

Boys 2000m Under 14: Ronan Davidge stormed to victory, claiming gold with a winning time of 6:59.62.
Girls 3000m Under 15: Riana Robinson showcased her endurance, securing gold in 11:39.65.
Girls Triple Jump Under 14: Amaya Davis leapt to gold with a top mark of 9.90m.
Boys 800m Under 9: Elliott Davidge continued his golden form from Day One, winning in 2:51.76.
Girls 800m Under 10: Diamond Morris delivered a dominant performance to win gold in 2:52.43.
Girls 200m Under 8 Finals: Raelyn Robinson sprinted to victory, stopping the clock at 34.60.
Boys 200m Under 10 Finals: Thedore Smith claimed gold in 29.65.
Girls 800m Under 16: Kelise Wade showcased her middle-distance prowess, winning in 2:27.64.
Boys 800m Under 18: Surii Russell delivered a dominant performance, securing gold in 2:02.50.
Girls 1600m SMR (Under 10): The team of Giselle Reid-Rubaine, Diamond Morris, and Bree Simmons combined for a winning time of 6:04.07.
Girls 1600m SMR (Under 12): The team of Aalirah Daniels, A. St Luce, and Zaya Cann-Berkley took top honours in 5:02.42.
Girls 4x400m (Under 16): The quartet of Dhiannon Bailey, S. Minors, and Kelise Wade stormed to gold in 4:17.52.

Silver Medal Performances:

Girls 200m Under 9 Finals: Skye Furbert secured silver in 32.96.
Girls 200m Under 12 Finals: Aalirah Daniels ran to a silver medal in 27.82.
Boys 200m Under 13 Finals: Jadon Lightbourne earned silver in 25.89.
Boys 800m Under 16: Nasir Johnson ran to a silver medal in 2:08.38.
Girls 800m Under 18: Azari Jones secured second place in 2:30.94.
Boys 1600m SMR (Under 14): The team of Ajani Trott, Harlo Robinson, and Ronan Davidge earned silver in 4:34.51.

Bronze Medal Performances:

Girls 800m Under 14: Sukanya Jobson secured a bronze medal, finishing in 2:31.00.

Several other Bermudian athletes narrowly missed out on podium finishes, demonstrating the depth of talent within the Bermuda Pacers Track Club. These athletes include:
