 Satya Tuzo-Smith IslandStats.com Eleven young gymnasts representing the Bermuda Gymnastics Association have made a strong impression at the Burlington Spring Cup in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, showcasing their talent under the guidance of coach Becky Wentling. The Bermudian contingent achieved notable success across various levels, bringing home medals and personal bests.
In the Bronze level, nine-year-old Emma Wright delivered a stellar performance to clinch the overall first place in her age group with a total score of 38.25. Her individual event highlights included a fourth-place finish on the Vault (9.575), fifth on Bars (9.6), a gold medal-winning routine on the Beam (9.725), and another first place on the Floor exercise (9.35).
Seven-year-old Satya Tuzo-Smith also impressed in the Bronze category, securing second place all-around with a score of 37.125. Her individual successes included a gold medal on the Vault (9.125), fourth place on Bars (9.5), silver on the Beam (9.2), and bronze on the Floor (9.3). Fellow seven-year-old Jodie Denton finished ninth all-around (36.225), with her best event placing being seventh on the Bars (9.475).
Moving to the Gold level, eight-year-old Maddie Pritchard enjoyed a remarkable clean sweep, taking first place on every single apparatus. The youngest competitor at her level, Pritchard achieved an all-around score of 34.775, demonstrating impressive consistency across the Vault (8.8), Bars (8.8), Beam (8.8), and Floor (8.85).
Ten-year-old Samantha Tolosa finished fifth all-around in the Gold level (35.775), securing a bronze medal on the Bars (9.475). Fallon Wooley, age 12, placed sixth all-around (34.1), with a sixth-place finish on the Floor (9.025) as her best event. Ellise Leamey (12) finished eleventh all-around (30.8), while Nicole Burrows (14) placed ninth (33.85), securing fifth on the Bars (9.175) and Beam (8.225). Sadie Hocking (13) finished with an all-around score of 32.275, and McKenna Redcliffe (13) placed twelfth with 32.225.
Finally, in the Level 6 category, twelve-year-old Eva Wright finished tenth all-around (33.175), with her standout performance being a fifth-place finish on the Floor exercise (9.225).
