A quartet of Bermudian archers are set to test their skills on the global stage at the prestigious Vegas Shoot, the world's largest and most renowned indoor archery tournament. Camerin Pickering, Jaydon Roberts, Robin Selley, and Robert O'Connor will be among the thousands of archers from around the globe competing in the three-day event.
The Vegas Shoot is known for its inclusive nature, welcoming archers of all levels and styles. The competition features the classic 3-spot 20-yard Vegas Round, a format that has become synonymous with the tournament.
Last year, Selley impressed with a 9th place finish in the Recurve Young Adult Female Division, achieving a combined score of 561 (278, 283). Pickering competed in the Recurve Flight 1 Division, posting a total score of 837 (286, 280, 271). Roberts, participating in the Recurve Flight 2 Division, scored 826 (271, 279, 276). O'Connor, competing in the Recurve Flight 9 Division, finished with a combined score of 685 (241, 235, 209).
With their previous experience at the Vegas Shoot, Pickering, Roberts, Selley, and O'Connor, will be looking to improve on their past performances and make their mark in this year's competition. The tournament provides a valuable opportunity to test their skills against a diverse and talented field of archers from around the globe.
