In the fifth race of the night, a Pace Class event, Waldron partnered with Montana Chief A. The pair battled hard, ultimately finishing ninth with a time of 1:52&4. The race was won by Kyle Wilfong driving Brooklyn Bridge A, who crossed the line in 1:51&1. Despite the final result, Waldron and Montana Chief A remained competitive throughout, showcasing their speed and endurance.
Waldron's second outing saw him in the bike of Street Boy for another Pace Class race. This contest proved to be a nail-biter, with a blanket finish separating the top contenders. Waldron and Street Boy secured sixth place with a time of 1:53&4, just a fraction of a second behind the top three finishers who all clocked 1:53&1.
While victory eluded Waldron on this occasion, his performances highlight his continued competitiveness at Hawthorne. The close finishes demonstrate his ability to challenge the leading drivers and horses on the circuit.
