Associate Head Coach David Patrick and the LSU Tigers pounced on the University of New Orleans Privateers, securing an 86-70 victory at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The Tigers improved to a roaring 10-2 on the season, while UNO fell to 2-9.
It wasn't all smooth sailing for LSU. The Tigers started slow offensively, shooting just 40.6% from the field in the first half. But they turned up the heat after the break, finding their rhythm and pulling away for a comfortable win.
Vyctorius Miller led the charge for LSU with a game-high 17 points, shooting an efficient 6-8 from the field and 3-4 from beyond the arc. Cam Carter also caught fire, dropping 14 points while shooting 6-10 from the field, including 3-6 from downtown.
Despite the loss, James White put on a show for UNO, leading the Privateers with 24 points.
