The Butterfield Bermuda APGA Championship will celebrate inclusion and provide diverse golfers from underrepresented backgrounds with an equal opportunity to compete at the highest level.
APGA Tour Chairman Ken Bentley, said: “We are thankful to the Butterfield Bermuda Championship team and the Bermuda Tourism Authority for their continued support of the APGA Tour. In addition to offering our players the opportunity to compete, we are also excited to connect them with the PGA TOUR and further our mission for equality and inclusion in such a beautiful location.”
The field will be comprised of 18 of the top APGA Tour players, based on the final 2023 APGA Tour Lexus Cup standings, and the three local Bermudians who will have a chance to earn their spot during the local qualifier at Port Royal Golf Course. Players will compete for an exemption into the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship and a purse of $50,000 making it the fourth largest on the APGA Tour.
The tournament welcomes the public to come out and show their support. It is free to attend, and you do not require a ticket.
