The Emory & Henry University Women's Rugby team secured their second 10s match win of the season with a dominant performance against Guilford College. Emory & Henry showcased their offensive prowess, building a commanding 19-point lead by halftime en route to a decisive 53-32 victory.
Sophomore Alexia Hurdle proved instrumental in Emory & Henry success. With Emory & Henry already holding a comfortable 31-12 advantage at the half, Hurdle ignited the second-half scoring with a dynamic run, culminating in an offload to freshman Kayla Spiegel for her second try of the match. This extended the Emory & Henry lead to 36-12, setting the tone for the remainder of the contest.
Emory & Henry continued to control the game, ultimately securing a 21-point victory. Hurdle's impactful performance earned her the well-deserved recognition of Emory & Henry Player of the Match.
