Imani Phillips picked up a Silver Medal competing in the Veolia Milwaukee Open inside the Baird Center.
Phillips would compete in the Women’s Singles (Amateur) Skill: (4.0) Division.
Phillips would advance to the Final after defeating Alexia Zatarain 15 - 13, in their Semi-Final battle.
In the Gold Medal match, Phillips and J’ana Diamond needed a third set tie-breaker to decide a winner.
Phillips won the first set 11-8, but Diamond would level the match at 1 - 1 winning the second set 11-7. The match would then be decided in the third set with Diamond winning 11-4.
In earlier action Phillips was playing in Pool 2 where she finished on top of the table with a 4 & 1 record.
In her First Round match, Phillips would fall 15-11 to Aliya Peterson, but from there Phillips would go undefeated.
Phillips would defeat Ariana Ajani 15-8 in the Second Round, she would then defeat Courtenay Casaccio 15-1 to move to 2 & 1.
In her Fourth Round match, Phillips defeated Toni Gardner 15-6, and then in her Fifth Round match, Phillips defeated Natalia Simson 15 - 11.
