Richard Bolt, crashed over the Try line early in the second half, to extend the Classic Lions lead, the Classic Lions, scored again with a ferocious counter-attack. Bolt, a thorn in Italy's side all evening, struck again, extending the lead to an imposing 26-0.
Italy, refusing to surrender, finally found their footing. Albertaric Geronimo, a gladiator in the Italian ranks, powered his way through the Lions' defense to score a much-needed try. Benetti Nicola, with nerves of steel, added the conversion, narrowing the gap to 26-7. The dynamic duo struck again, their combined efforts bringing Italy within striking distance at 26-14.
But the Lions, with victory within their grasp, refused to relinquish their grip. Dave Fairbrother, a force of nature, delivered the final blow, securing a Try that sealed Italy's fate. Ruddock, with unwavering accuracy, added the conversion, bringing the final score to 33-14.
South Africa 47 France 16
In an epic clash of rugby titans, South Africa emerged victorious from a fierce battle against France, securing their place in the Bermuda Classic Final with a resounding 47-16 victory. The National Sports Center was transformed into a gladiatorial arena as these two powerhouses collided, leaving no inch of the pitch uncontested.
South Africa drew first blood, Rosko Speckman slicing through the French defense like a hot knife through butter to score the opening try. Ruan Pienaar, a maestro with the boot, added the extras, giving South Africa an early 7-3 lead. France, stung by the early blow, responded with a penalty from the sharpshooting Gauthier Escalais.

South Africa's offensive onslaught continued with Pietersen's second try of the match, and Pienaar's flawless conversion stretched the lead to a commanding 33-9. France, their pride wounded but their spirit unbroken, fought back with a try from the determined Escalais, who also added the conversion, bringing the score to 33-16.
But the Springboks, with victory in sight, unleashed a final, devastating surge. Speckman, a man possessed, crossed the try line once more, followed by Morgan Newman, who delivered the final blow. Zane Kirchner, with ice in his veins, slotted two conversions, bringing the final score to a resounding 47-16.
