The Bermuda Bicycle Association has announced a strong team of athletes to represent the island at the upcoming Caribbean Road Cycling Championships in Guyana. The championships, hosted by the Guyana Cycling Federation from November 1st to 4th, will see top cyclists from across the Caribbean compete for regional titles.
Bermuda's delegation features a blend of seasoned veterans and rising talent. Kaden Hopkins, Conor White, and Olympian Tyler Smith will contest the Elite Men's Division, while Nic Narraway will represent Bermuda in the Under-23 Men's Category. Gabriella Arnold will be Bermuda's sole representative in the Elite Women's Division.
The team will be supported on-site by Peter Dunne, President of the Bermuda Bicycle Association, and Darren Glasford, who will provide logistical and technical expertise. Dunne, who also serves as Treasurer and Executive Committee Member of the Caribbean Cycling Union, will attend the Union's annual Congress held in conjunction with the championships.
All cyclists, with the exception of Smith, will participate in both the Individual Time Trial and the Road Race. Due to a limitation of two Time Trial entries per category per country, Smith will focus solely on the Road Race, where his experience and tactical acumen will be invaluable assets to the team.
The Bermuda Bicycle Association is confident that this talented team will represent the island with distinction at the Caribbean Road Cycling Championships, showcasing their dedication and competitive spirit on the regional stage.
