Nicholas Narraway began competing in the UCI Road World Championships 2024 Under 23 Men's Time Trial in Switzerland.
The Under 23 Men's Time Trial covered a distance of 29.9 km, which started in Gossau, sharing the route with the Elite Women’s event. With an altitude gain of 327m, it descends into a flat finish along Lake Zurich.
Narraway pushed himself against the clock, each pedal stroke a testament to his dedication. Narraway clocked a time of 40:19 finishing in the 37th position. While the competition was fierce, Narraway’s resolve remained unyielding.
However, the Spanish Champion, Ivan Romeo Abad, set a blistering pace. Narraway found himself trailing by 3 minutes and 37 seconds—a gap that highlighted the caliber of the field and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
