Idaho's Divant'e Moffitt's bucket with four seconds left forced overtime, and Isaac Jones scored 10 points in the extra session to lift the Vandals to an 82-76 win over David Patrick’s Sacramento State.
In a game where neither team led by eight points the entire way, Sacramento State’s Austin Patterson drilled a 3-ball with 11 second left in regulation to give them a 68-66 lead. That capped a 12-4 Sacramento State run over a 4:24 span, and gave Sacramento State its first lead since the 13:50 mark of the second half.
However, Idaho has two of the Big Sky Conference's top three scorers, and both produced in a major way. That included Moffitt who drove hard to the rim and hit an off-balance layup to tie things at 68-68 with four seconds left. That was two of Moffitt's game-high 30 points on 13-of-18 shooting. He entered the game third in the league at 18.8 ppg.
