David Patrick’s Sacramento State closed the game on a 9-2 run, and Zach Chappell's running 12-footer at the buzzer spun around the rim and out, as they fell at Weber State, 50 - 48, at the Dee Events Center.
Sacramento State has seen five of its last six games decided by four points or less, and the team is 2-3 in those outcomes. That includes a four-point loss at Idaho State, as Sacramento State will begin a season-long four-game homestand next week.
The 50 points were the second-fewest allowed by Sacramento State this year, and Sacramento State's 48 points were a season-low as both teams were not proficient from the field. Weber State led the majority of the second half and took a game-high nine-point lead (48-39) with 4:57 remaining.
