The postseason awards continue to roll in for the Towson University Women's Soccer team with senior Nia Christopher earning United Soccer Coaches All-American honors.
Christopher was named to the Second Team.
This is the first time in program history that a player from Towson has earned All-American recognition after four players including Christopher were named as United Soccer Coaches All-East Region selections earlier this week.
"This is a great honor for Christopher and the Towson Women's Soccer program. It is a testament that hard work does pay off. It was a historical season for us and it is thrilling that a special players like Christopher has been recognized," head coach Katherine Vettori said.
Christopher was named to the Second Team after another stellar season for Towson that culminated in the program's first Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) title.
Christopher earned her third straight United Soccer Coaches All-Region honor, being named to the First Team, after being named to the Third Team in 2021 and Second Team last year.
The Bermuda native finished tied for first in the CAA in goals with 14 and led the league with 37 points.
Christopher broke the program record for goals, points, and game-winning goals during the year and was named CAA Attacking Player of the Year.
