Kane Crichlow and his Watford Under 23 defeated Crewe Alexandra Under 23’s 5 – 1.
Daniel Phillips gave Watford the lead in the 12th minute, but an own goal in the 32nd minute drew Crew Alexander level.
It wasn’t until the 83rd minute that Watford would go back in front when Tiago Cukur converted from the penalty spot, it would be 3 – 1 two minutes later when Phoenix Patterson scored.
In the 88th minute Mitchell Bergkamp would make it 4 – 5 to Watford and then in stoppage time Patterson would score his second goal of the game to make it 5 – 1.
