Robin Hood Football Club announced the addition of Jomar Wilkinson to the coaching staff for the Warwick Archers Youth Football Program for the 2019-2020 season.

Wilkinson is a UEFA B-licensed coach and has been actively coaching for the past twenty-seven years in the Bermuda Football Association leagues. He brings a wealth of experience to the program with a proven track record of success, having won multiple trophies in recent years with both the Dandy Town Hornets and Southampton Rangers men’s teams.

Wilkinson’s triumphs include three Premier Division titles, and he has been recognized as coach of the year on two occasions. Wilkinson has previously coached at the youth level with Dandy Town and his teams have won the Kappa Classic Tournament. He has worked with some notable players during his tenure, including coaching Nahki Wells during the last season he played domestic football in Bermuda.

Wilkinson will assume the responsibility to lead the coaching for the Under 15 Warwick Archer teams, filling the void left with the departure of Dennis Brown. Brown as reported by www.islandstats.com is returning to Somerset Cricket Club, where his illustrious career as a player began, to take up the position of Technical Director and Senior Men’s coach.

Robin Hood Football Club would like to thank Dennis Brown for his outstanding contribution to the Warwick Archers Youth Football Program, which he helped co-found in 2016. Brown recruited Richard Todd to join the program in 2017, and together they have quickly established the Warwick Archers as a competitive youth program, winning titles at the Under 13 and Under 15 Age Groups in each of the past three seasons.

Todd will continue to serve as the Program Director for the Warwick Archers, and sees Jomar Wilkinson as the ideal candidate to succeed Brown in the Under 15 Age Group.

Steven Simons, the Robin Hood Football Club President extends his thanks to Dennis Brown, and welcomes Jomar Wilkinson to the program. “We’re obviously sad to see Dennis go; he’s been instrumental in building this program and we thank him for all of his hard work and dedication over the past few years. Robin Hood Football Club is continuing to grow and establish ourselves as a real powerhouse in Bermuda Football and part of that is overcoming unexpected hurdles such as these. Jomar joining allows us to continue our upward trend within the youth setup and were extremely excited to see how he can help continue the momentum.”
