Members of the Bermuda Under 20 National team arrived back at the LF Wade International Airport after bowing out of the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championships in Costa Rica.
Bermuda finished fourth and was eliminated from Group C in the competition.
Bermuda at the first hurdle at this level came from the experience with lessons learned.
Coach Kyle Lightbourne said, “It was a fantastic opportunity for us, the coaches have learnt a lot on the tour, we were constantly thinking as the competition was very high.”
Player Mikiel Thomas said, “I felt we had a chance because the game is played on the field, but we need to work on our stamina.”
