Walsall are reporting that Young midfielder Milan Butterfield has received a Bermuda Under 20 call up as he will head to Costa Rica for International Duty.
Butterfield has been called up to represent Bermuda’s Under-20 side as they enter the CONCACAF Championships next month for the first time in the country’s history.
The 18-year old will link up with his fellow countrymen for the competition opener on February 17th. The first stage of the competition comes to a close on 26th February but should Bermuda progress into the latter rounds, Butterfield could be absent from club duty until 5th March.
The 6-foot-4 inch midfielder has been a regular starter for John Ward’s development side this season and has been praised in recent weeks for his rapid rate of progression.
The club would like to wish Milan and Bermuda the best of luck for the competition.
