Government COVID Responds to Islandstats Questions

The Government held their regular scheduled Covid Press Conference, Premier David Burt, and other officials during the Q&A period answered www.islandstats.com questions.
Question One was: The Royal Caribbean will begin cruises out of Bermuda starting for vaccinated adult guests, as we know even when vaccinated one could still contract the virus and spread it as well, these cruises hold upward of 2,000 passengers and more than 700 crew, what contingency plans are in place for dealing with a major outbreak on one of these cruises which could impact Bermuda?
Question Two was: What allowances have been given to the cruise line in advance, while some of Bermuda’s Major Sporting events are not granted the same leniency?
Question Three was: What is the delay in given the green light for Bermuda’s biggest sporting event the Annual Cup Match Classic?
Question Four was: Is it possible for the Department of Youth and Sport to be given the authority to help sporting bodies get up and running, as it would appear that sports are continuously delayed in waiting for a response from National Security?
