It may have taken them six games but City Ladies are finally up and running, having secured three, all important points in their first league win of the season at Keunna Dill and her Norwich City Ladies teammates.
Despite a positive start to the match from City, it was Norwich who took the lead inside five minutes when Chelsea Garrett latched on to a loose ball on the edge of the box and hammered it home hard and low, beyond the reach of Dominika Szary in the Cambridge goal.
However, after this early disappointment, there was a great response from City when Laura Mills levelled the score with a beauty of a goal.
Cambridge City would eventually come away with a 4 – 3 victory.
