Bermudian Paralympian Jessica Lewis was at the Washington Mall for a Meet and Greet with her new Coach Curtis Thom, the son of her former coach Ken Thom who passed away last year.
The Meet and greet was designed to bring awareness for the Bermuda Paralympic Association and also thank the public for their support.
Lewis has represented the Bermuda in two Paralympic Games, and is the 100m Women’s T54 Record Holder in the Parpan Games.
Tomorrow, Lewis and Thom will join riders as the Pedal for Paralympics event is set to take place.
The pair made their way to the National Sports Center for a Training session, which we got a chance to talk to Thom, about coaching.
Thom said, “I just plan to keep the work already started with my dad and help Jessica grow in the sport.”
