Jesse Washington began taking part in the 2014 Canadian Age Group Swimming Championships.
During the Male 15 Year old 50m Freestyle Long Course Preliminaries Washington recorded the 9th fastest time of 25.65 missing out on a spot in the Final. Washington advanced to the Male 15 Year old 100 Freestyle Long Course Final after finishing 4th in the Preliminaries with a time of 54.50, in the Final Washington finished 7th with a time of 54.02.
During the Male 15 Year old 200 Freestyle Long Course Preliminaries, Washington finished 19th with a time of 2:01.79.
