These are the fastest times ever swum by a swimmer representing the country in 2023 and kept by Bermuda's National Swimming Federation, the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association (BASA).
In the Men’s Division, Jack Harvey broke three Individual Records, all three in the Backstroke, in April during the TYR Pro Swim Series in the United States, Harvey touched the wall in a time of 2:04.37 breaking the 200m Backstroke Record.
During the CAC Games in El Salvador in June, Harvey clocked 26.57 to set the new 50m Backstroke Record. Harvey in July during the World Championships in Japan, broke the 100m Backstroke Record touching the wall in a time of 57.04.
Emma Harvey also broke four Individual Records in 2023 in the Women’s Division, in June during the CAC Games in El Salvador, Harvey broke the 50m Backstroke Record with a time of 28.75. During the Pan American Games in Chile in October, Harvey touched the wall in a time of 1:02.42 setting a new Record.
Harvey broke the 50m Butterfly Record clocking 27.11, during the CAC Games in El Salvador in June, at the same event Harvey broke the 100m Butterfly Record clocking a time 1:00.65.
During the July World Championships in Japan, the Bermuda 4x100m Freestyle Relay team of Benedict Parfit, Jack Harvey, Madelyn Moore, and Emma Harvey broke the Record with a time of 3:38.86.
The team of Jack Harvey, Benedict Parfit, Emma Harvey, and Madelyn Moore clocked a time of 4:03.43 setting a new Record in the 4x100m Medley Relay in June at the CAC Games in El Salvador.
