Jesse Washington collected a Silver Medal while taking part in the 13-14 Boys 200 LC Meter Freestyle when he touched the wall second with a Personal Best time of 1:58.16. Emma Harvey won a Silver Medal with a Personal Best time of 29.55 while finishing second in the 11-12 Girls 50 LC Meter Butterfly. Harvey won another Silver Medal with a Personal Best time of 1:12.01 in the 11-12 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke. Madelyn Moore won the Silver Medal 13-14 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke with a Personal Best time of 1:09.18
Washington then won a Bronze Medal taking part in the 13-14 Boys 50 LC Meter Butterfly clocking a Personal Best time of 26.55. Shannon Hassell won the Bronze Medal competing in the 13-14 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke clocking a Personal best time of 1:09.30.
Shannon Hassell finished 7th in the 13-14 Girls 200 LC Meter Freestyle recording a Personal Best time of 2:15.49 and Ethan Daley finished 4th in the 11-12 Boys 50 LC Meter Butterfly with a Personal Best time of 29.88. Daley next finished 5th in the 11-12 Boys 11-12 LC Meter Backstroke clocking a Personal Best time of 1:12.84 and Brett Smith finished sixth clocking a Personal Best time of 1:13.07. Washington finished 4th taking part in the 13-14 Boys 100 LC Meter Backstroke touching the wall in a Personal Best time of 1:04.81.
PreliminariesDay Two of the Carifta Swimming Championships going on in Aruba has seen Bermuda Swimmers back in action during Preliminaries.
Ashley Irby reached the 11-12 Girls 200 LC Meter Freestyle Finals when she finished 4th with a time of 2:20.62, Alyssa Paynter finished 19th after clocking a time of 2:34.55.
Alex Pilgrim and Jude Moseley finished 12th and 13th respectively while competing in the 11-12 Boys 200 LC Meter Freestyle clocking 2:22.53 and 2:22.64.
Shannon Hassell reached the 13-14 Girls 200 LC Meter Freestyle Finals when she finished 6th touching the wall in a time of 2:15.99, Madelyn Moore finished 11th clocking 2:18.25.
Jesse Washington recorded the 3rd fastest Qualifying time during the 13–14 Boys 200 LC Meter Freestyle with a time of 2:02.34, Philip Hagen finished 10th in the 15-17 Boys 200 LC Meter Freestyle recording a Personal Best time of 2:04.18.
Emma Harvey clocked the fastest Qualifying time in the 11-12 Girls 50 LC Meter Butterfly touching the wall in a Personal Best time 30.11, while Isabelle Dutranoit finished 21st with a time of 36.34.
Ethan Daley will compete in the 11-12 Boys 50 LC Meter Butterfly Final after finishing 5th with a Personal Best time of 30.54, while Alex Pilgrim finished 13th with a Personal Best time of 32.92.
Jesse Washington finished second in the 13-14 Boys 50 LC Meter Butterfly clocking a time of 27.26, Harvey will compete in the 11-12 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke final after finishing 2nd in a Personal Best time of 1:12.07, while Irby finished 11th clocking 1:17.22.
Daley will compete for a Medal in the 11-12 Boys 100 LC Meter Backstroke Final after finishing 5th clocking a Personal Best time of 1:13.23.
Moore and Hassell will compete in the 13-14 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke final after they finished 2nd and 3rd clocking 1:09.62 and 1:10.39 respectively.
