Along with the health concerns of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has resulted in limited competitions being hosted locally in over a year, add in money worries to overcome, if they are to send anyone to the August 24th – 29th event in Kazan, Russia.
The World Junior Championships, a biennial event, which serves as a showcase for some of the world's young and promising swimmers, will precede the inaugural PanAm Junior Championships in Cali, Colombia, in September that Bermuda is also hoping to have athletes compete at, all things being equal.
