Famous finished 2nd in the Women’s High Jump with a top leap of 1.66m.

Brijette Basden represented Shaw University at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
Competing in the Women's 200 Meters Basden finished 3rd in Heat Two and 9th overall clocking a time of 27.73.
