Bobb & Parsons Represent UMBC at Navy Track Meet

Caitlyn Bobb and Za'Kayza Parsons represented the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) during the season opener at Navy.

Freshman Bobb debuted in brilliant fashion winning the Women’s 500m dash in a time of 1:14.14, the fifth-best time in school history and qualifying for the ECAC/IC4A Championships.

Bobb and teammates Collese Daley, senior Ayanna Johnson and sophomore Autumn Winston also qualified for the ECAC/IC4A Championships in the Women’s 1600m relay, the quartet placed third against a strong field with a time of 3:51.58.

Parsons finished 9th in the Women’s 60 Meter Dash stopping the clock in a time of 7.88, Parsons had a leap of 5.31m on her way to finishing 11th in the Women’s Long Jump.
