Dr. Freddie Evans is set to be elected President of the Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA) unopposed, having been confirmed as the only candidate for the top job in advance of the Congress set for Thursday evening.
Dr. Evans last week indicated he was putting his name forward for the election following the announcement that current BNAA President Donna Raynor revealed that she was not seeking re-election.
Dr. Evans said, “After careful deliberation and extensive discussions with my family, I have decided to offer myself for consideration as President of the Bermuda National Athletic Association.
The vision I am proposing is “Growing together for Athletic Excellence”.
This is not a slogan, but the way I hope to lead…inclusively.”
