Caitlyn Bobb’s bid to advance in the World Athletics Under 20 Championships Women’s 400m was dashed at the first hurdle in Nairobi, Kenya.
Bobb competing in Heat 3 of the Women’s 400m, was Disqualified for crossing into another lane.
Bobb finished third in the heat with a season-best time of 53.62, but she was informed of the Disqualification following the race.
It was drama earlier in the race as Nikola Bisova, from the Czech Republic, was Disqualified for a false start.
