Armstrongs Compete in NJ Track & Field Sectional's

The first step on the road to the NJSIAA Meet of Champions saw Nathan and Andrew Armstrong compete at NJ Track & Field Group 1 Sectional's representing Pompton Lakes Cardinal.
Nathan Armstrong ran and placed in 4 races leading all of them from start to finish.
Nathan Armstrong would win the 1600m in a time of 4:18.39.
During the 400m Nathan Armstrong finished 3rd overall, because he didn't have a seed time in the 400m, saw him placed in the slowest heat. He actually ran 51.08 in lane 1, all alone.
Nathan would also pick up wins the 3200m clocking 9:51.02, and the 800m stopping the clock in 1:57.10, which was a great way to finish his last sectionals.
Andrew Armstrong, has found his niche and is starting to love the 800m, he finished his freshman year at his first NJ sectionals meet finishing 12th as the first freshman in the Group 1 race clocking 2:13.16.
