Bermuda officials along with NACAC officials have begun talks on how the Carifta Games in Bermuda next year will possibly look.
Several discussions include a reduced number of athletes, getting athletes and officials to Bermuda, and their stay on the island.
The 49th Carifta Games will be now staged from April 2 to 5, 2021, this after Donna Raynor, the President of the Bermuda National Athletics Association and Chairwoman of Carifta Games 2020, made the rescheduling announcement back in April of this year.
Raynor said, “We are speaking with Government officials as well as health officials to get some updates, we are also discussing the situation with NACA and the other countries.”
The Bermuda National Athletics Association has issued guidelines, for athletes and their families to be able to make informed decisions as to when they will return to training and eventually competition. Click Here to see the Full Bermuda Athletics Protocol
