Remember When - Troy Douglas

Episode four of Remember When sees Olympian Troy Douglas as the guest.

Douglas while competing for Bermuda, he finished second at the 1995 IAAF World Indoor Championships in the 200 meters event, but he changed nationality to the Netherlands in 1998. For Bermuda he participated at the 1988, 1992, and 1996 Summer Olympics, reaching the Semi-Finals in the 200 meters in 1996 as well as the Semi-Finals in the 400 meters in 1992 and 1996. He finished 5th in the final of the 200 meters at the 1991 Pan American Games.

Douglas together with Patrick van Balkom, Timothy Beck and Caimin Douglas won a Bronze medal in 4×100 meters relay at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics

After leaving his post at the Bermuda National Athletics Association, Douglas defined his experience on the Master in Coaching at the Johan Cruyff Institute. The charismatic sprinter is now part of the AFC Ajax staff. He works there as a performance coach, a new challenging role for him.
