Smith a 3 time Olympian, is also a 3 time NCAA Division II All-American in the Long Jump.
Smith competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics but it did not go well, so Smith has decided to give it another go.
Smith is hopeful that a decision is made quickly, but in the meantime he is looking to make sure he is prepared.
