The Franklin Pierce University Track & Field team sent only select athletes including Destini Hill-Edwards to compete in the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational at the Gordon Indoor Track on the campus of Harvard University, but came away with plenty to show for it regardless.
During the 4x220-yard Relay the Franklin Pierce team of sophomore Paola Brena, freshman Hill-Edwards, freshman Julieth Nwosu, and freshman Nyjah Young-Bey clocked a winning time of 1:48.32.
When converted to the NCAA-standard 4x200-meter distance, the time came in at 1:47.69, now stands as a new school record by over two seconds.
Meanwhile on Sunday www.islandstats.com reported Caitlyn Bobb competed in the VA Showcase inside the Liberty University Indoor Facility representing Harford Tech.
Today Donna Raynor President of the Bermuda National Athletics Association informed the media that, Bobb’s 300m time is ranked her 5th in the US.
