Bermuda National Athletics Association President Donna Raynor has reported to the media of the accomplishments of overseas athletes Caitlyn Bobb and Nathan Armstrong.
Caitlyn Bobb and Nathan Armstrong continue their fantastic performances, they are both really looking great as they prepare for the Carifta Games.
Bobb competed in the Warrior Invitational in Maryland, Bobb won the Varsity Girls 500m Dash Final in a time of 1:16.77. “Bobb has a full schedule ahead of her as she prepares for the games, with the over distance she should be well prepared for the 200m & 400m,” said Raynor.
Nathan Armstrong competed in the Paul Schwartz Invitational inside the FDU Rothman Center in Hackensack New Jersey.
Armstrong competed in the Distance Medley Relay representing Pompton Lakes and the 1000m. Unfortunately his team dropped the baton in the Distance Medley Relay but Armstrong still ran the fastest 1600m split of the day, 4.32.00.
Armstrong then came back to finish 2nd in the 1000m in 2:41.00. Ryanor concluded, “These events are great preparation for Nathan as he moves to the Under 20 Age Group possibly competing in the 1500m and 5000m.”
