Jessica Lewis took to the Track in Dubai for the World Para Athletics Championships T53 Women’s 100m Final.
Lewis finished 4th with a time of 16.84, she finished 2 tenths of a second from the podium spot.
Fang Gao from China clocked winning time of 16.26 which is a Championship Record, Hingzhuan Zhou also from China was second in 16.58 and Samantha Kinghorn from Great Britain was third in 16.64.
Following the race, Lewis told www.islandstats.com, “4th is always tough but I’m proud to come away with 2 of my fastest 100m races for this season and to have beaten and gapped some of the big names in my class.”
