Shianne Smith competed in a Heptathlon in a French Track and Field Meet.
Smith would take on 55 other competitors and would win with a total score of 4,982 points.
Smith said to www.islandstats.com, “This result puts me in the number 1 position on the French list of Heptathlètes, albeit still early in season.”
Smith clocked a 100m Hurdles time of 14.67, before leaping a height of 1.56m during the High Jump.
Smith recorded a top toss in the Shot Put of 11.69m and the she was clocked in the 200m with a time of 25.51.
Smith had a Long Jump top leap of 5.13m, which was followed by a toss of 35.07m in the Javelin Throw and she closed out with an 800m time of 2:24.97.
The result also qualifies Smith for the French Championships in combined events in June.
Smith concluded, “Considering the results where I ended my season in June of last year to these results I am not far off.”
