Jah-Nhai Perinchief and his Texas Tech Men’s Track and Field teammates posted the most dominant victory in conference history as Texas Tech Repeat as Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Champions.
Perinchief made two appearances on the Podium as he broke the Bermuda Indoor High Jump Record as well.
Perinchief finished second competing in the Men’s Triple Jump with a top leap of 16.75m or 54 feet 11.5 inches.
Perinchief had more in his tank, too, as he went on to win his second Silver Medal competing in the High Jump. Perinchief and Kansas State's Tejaswin Shankar traded clearances all the way up to 2.28m or 7 feet 5.75 inches which was a Personal Bests for both of them. They each fouled out at the 2.31m or 7 feet 7 inches with Shankar taking the title with fewer misses.
