Tiara Derosa representing Mississippi Valley State University Women’s Track & Field began competing in the South Western Athletic Conference (SWAC) Indoor Championships.
In a field of 28 Women’s Shot Putters Derosa finished 10th with a top toss of 12.26m which came on her first attempt. Derosa would have a toss of 12.17m on her second attempt and then she had a toss of 11.66m on her third and final attempt.
Derosa would finish 15th competing in the Women’s Weight Throw with a top toss of 13.24m or 43 feet 05 inches which came on her third and final attempt as she recorded two fouls on her first two attempts.
