A trio of Bermuda Athletes represented the St Johnsbury Track and Field team during the D1 VT State Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Zekiah Lewis, Sajan Harvey and Malik Joell all took part, with Lewis and Joell earning State Championship Gold Medals.
Lewis’ Gold and title would come in the Women’s Varsity Long Jump Finals when she recorded a top leap of 4.87m.
Lewis would finish 10th competing in the Women’s Varsity 100 Meters Preliminaries clocking a time of 13.47, she would finish 7th during the Women’s Varsity 200 Meters stopping the clock in a time of 28.13.
Lewis would lead off for the St Johnsbury Women’s Varsity 4x100 Relay team that finished 5th clocking a time of 52.61.
Joell’s title would come during the Men’s Varsity 4x800 Relay Finals as he ran the anchor leg for the St Johnsbury team that clocked a winning time of 8:25.41.
During the Men’s Varsity 800 Meters, Harvey would finish 6th with a time of 2:03.58, while Joell finished 11th stopping the clock in a time of 2:09.19.
Harvey would finish 5th competing in the Men’s Varsity 1500 Meters clocking 4:15.48, he would also lead off the St Johnsbury Men’s Varsity 4x400 Relay team that finished 8th with a time of 3:41.47.
