The Bermuda Track and Field Association’s Season continued at the National Sports Center with the Pacers Track Meet taking place.
Despite the cold, windy and showery conditions, several runners came within reach of meeting the Carifta Games Standards.
Taylor Hines just missed out on the Girls 400 Meter Dash Under 17 Qualification Standard clocking a winning time of 59.87 with the Standard set at 58.50, Kayla Raymond finished second with a time of 1:00.98 and Sanaa Re Morris finished third with a time of 1:01.49.
Jessie Marshall won the Girls 1500 Meter Run Under 17 race with a time of 5:17.92, with Myeisha Sharrieff finished second in 5:35.35.
Clevonte Lodge missed the Under 17 Boys 400 Meter Dash Qualifying Standard by 0.21 of a second when he was clocked at 50.17, with the Standard set at 49.96, Nirobi Smith-Mills was second in 53.93 and Sancho Smith finished third stopping the clock in a time of 54.04.
Ryan Outerbridge won the Under 17 Boys 1500 Meter Run crossing the line in a time of 4:25.91, with the Standard set at 4:23.00, Kahzi Sealey was second in 4:53.33.
The person who came the closes on the day was Stephan Dill competing in the Under 20 Men’s 100 Meter Dash, Dill was clocked at 10.77 with the Standard set at 10.75 which was just .02 of a second off the mark. Deneo Brangman was second stopping the clock in a time of 10.86 and Mikal Dill finished third with a time of 11.69.
