Bermuda Youngsters Help St Johnsbury on the Track

Matteo Dill takes off with the Baton

St Johnsbury Academy was well represented by the Bermuda contingent of Track and Field talent during the VITA Weekend #5 Indoor Track Meet as Korey Simons, Matteo Dill, Malik Joell, Sajan Harvey and Jayden Ming helped the Boys win their Division and Quinnae Outerbridge helped the Girls finish 3rd.

Outerbridge finished the Girls 600 Meters race in 4th with a time of 1:47.86, she then finished the 1600 Meters race in 3rd stopping the clock in 5:59.88.

Simons finished the 300 Meters in 5th place with a time of 38.45, while Dill finished 5th in the 600 Meters stopping the clock in 1:35.24.

During the 1000 Meters harvey clocked a time of 2:50.90 to finish 3rd, Ming was the 18th runner to cross the line in 3:03.17 and Joell finished 24th with a time of 3:07.08.

Ming finished 12th competing in the 1600 Meters recording a time of 5:01.48, while Simons helped the St Johnsbury 4x200 Relay Boys team finish first with a time of 1:38.72.

Harvey ran leg one and Joell ran the second leg helping the St Johnsbury Boys 4x800 Relay team clock a winning time of 8:59.89.

During the Boys Triple Jump Simons finished 3rd with a leap of 11.63m, while Dill finished 5th with a leap of 11.60m.
