Bermudians love to talk about how Usain Bolt was 17 years old and broke the World Junior record in the 200m clocking 19.93 at the 2004 Carifta Games in Bermuda, well Miller was in Bermuda back in 2012 she was in the shadows of another Bahamian runner Anthonique Strachan at the time, she finished second behind Strachan in the Under 20 Women’s 200m and she also helped the Bahamas Women’s 4x100m Relay Team to Gold.
Miller led the Rio Olympics Women’s 400m race going into the final straight and plunged over the line to beat Felix, the world champion, into second place, ahead of Jamaica's Shericka Jackson in third.
