BNA Youth & Senior Division Round-Up

The Bermuda Netball Association’s league season continued at the Bernard’s Park Netball Courts, with matches in all four divisions.

In the Under 11 Division, Honor White was named the best attacker for the NPS Hot Steppers, the best defender was Tamirra Richardson, and the MVP was Sophia Odouri. Savannah Hayward was named MVP for the Storm, with Sariah Grant the best attacker, and Avery Paiva the best defender. Olivia Darrell was named the best defender for the Dandy Stars, with Arianna Parra Delgado the best attacker, and MVP. Titania Green was named the North Village Lady Rams best attacker Jayla Woodley-Herbert was the best defender, and Maliah Steede was the MVP.

In the Under 14 Division Rangers defeated the Storm Lightning 11-8, E'Rynn Paynter led Rangers to victory with 8 goals, while Cindi Darrell added 3 goals, Jade Simons was the teams best attacker, Ja'Miyah Johnston was the best defender and Ahnyah Ming was the MVP. Nailah Barclay scored 4 goals for Storm Lightning, with Ameerah Outerbridge adding 3 goals, and Malaysia Furbert scored once. Jaylah Ible was the best attacker, with Naomi Crofton the best defender and MVP.

North Village Lady Rams won the Under 17 Division match 38 -21 over the Dandy Stars, J'Zari Zuill-Dillas scored 22 goals for North Village, Aknina Williams added 7 goals, while Ra'eesah Robinson scored 6, and Starr Bowen added the other 3 goals, Neveah Swan was the best attacker, Zipporah Grant was the best defender, and J'Zari Zuill-Dillas was the MVP. Sioma Rudo scored 13 goals for the Dandy Stars, Moriah Bridgewater added the other 8 goals. Chiaje Rudo was named the best attacker and MVP, while Te'Meira Rutherford was the best defender.

The Storm defeated the Phoenix Fire 35 – 23, MVP Rihanna Reddicks scored 31 goals for the Storm, Jamir Hatherley added 2 goals, with Jaelyn Rown Lambert and Jazya Brimmer Peets both adding a goal each, Sa'Ray Beach was name the best attacker, and Keyahnee Burgess was the best defender. Kammie Mills, best attacker Hailey Trott scored 9 goals each for Phoenix, with Sydney Santos adding the other 5 goals, Kylie Smith was named the best defender and MVP.

In the Senior Division the North Village Lady Rams defeated St. George’s 60 – 19, MVP Darrika Simons led North Village with 42 goals, Coriah Simmons added 18 goals, Jada Richards was the best attacker, and Taahira Butterfield was the best defender. MVP Nikita Trott scored 8 goals for St. George’s, Kristin Holman added 6 goals, and best defender Sonja Townsend scored 5 goals, Kiarrah Rogers as the teams best attacker.

The Tigers defeated the Storm 40 – 36, JahKenya Trott led the Tigers with 18 goals, MVP Candace Paynter added 16 goals, and JahTeure Trott scored 6 times, Kaylee Lima was the best attacker, and Demiqua Daniels was the best defender. Best attacker Zakiyah Durham scored 18 goals for the Storm, Nabiilah Nasir added 14 goals, and Rihanna Riddicks scored 4 times, Debre' Evans was the best defender and MVP.
