BNA Who's Who & Senior League Round-Up

The Bermuda Netball Association hosted their Who’s Who Tournament at the Whitney Institute Middle School Netball Courts.

Under 11 Division

NPS Hotsteppers and the North Village Lady Rams took to the court, the North Village Lady Rams MVP and Best Attacker was Xen Bourne, while the NPS Hotsteppers MVP was Lyon Simons, the Best Attacker was Dezirae Danbrook.

The Storm and Phoenix were next on the court, Hailey Odouri was named the Storm MVP, while Priya Dill was named the Best Attacker. A’mariss Dyer was named the Phoenix MVP, with the Best Attacker named K’ah Seymour.

It was Phoenix and NPS Hotsteppers to next take to the court, Phoenix named K’ah Seymour the MVP and Best Defender, with the Best Attacker named A’mariss Dyer, while the NPS Hotsteppers named Sofia Odouri MVP, while their Best Attacker was Ari Campbell, and the Best Defender was Trinity Fagan.

Under 14 Division

The Rangers defeated the Phoenix Embers 14 – 6, the Rangers named A’meerah Richardson as their MVP, the Best Attacker was Honor Caesar. The Phoenix Embers MVP and Best Defender was Hailey Trott.


The Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams 23 – 7, the Storm named Malaysia Furbert their MVP and Best Attacker, while their Best Defender was Journee Belboda, while Kiera Trott was named the North Village Lady Rams MVP and Best Attacker, while the Best Defender was Jazmyn Sutton.

Rangers defeated the Storm 10 – 7, the Rangers MVP was Saniyah Govia, while the Best Attacker was Ja’leigha Johnston, the Best Defender was E’rynn Paynter, the Storm name Jaylah Ible was the MVP, and the Best Attacker, the best Defender was Eliyah Seon.

Under 17 Division

The Storm edged Phoenix Embers 11 – 10, the MVP and best Attacker for Phoenix was Sydney Santos, while the Best Defender was Nishika Bisht.

The Dandy Stars defeated the North Village Lady Rams Whites 8 – 4, the Dandy Stars MVP was Chiaje Rudo, their Best Attacker was Sioma Rudo, and the Best Defender was Nahjae Raynor. The North Village Lady Rams Whites named Marlie Dill the MVP and the Best Defender, while the Best Attacker was Katiah Rogers.

The Reds won the battle of the North Village Lady Rams 23 – 12 over the Whites. The Reds named Zipporah Grant as their MVP, while their Best Attacker was Nevaeh Swan, and the Best Defender was J’zari Dillas Zuill, while the Whites MVP was Kiera Trott, Akina Williams was named the Best Attacker, and the Best Defender was Katiah Rogers.

The Phoenix Fire defeated the Dandy Stars 25 – 7, Syndney Santos was named the Phoenix Five MVP and Best Attacker, while the Best Defender was Uni Simmons.

The North Village Lady Rams Reds defeated the Storm 14 – 11, Zipporah Grant was named the North Village Lady Rams Reds MVP and best Defender, while the Best Attack was Neveah Swan.

Seniors Division

The Storm edged the North Village Lady Rams 42 – 41, the Storm got 26 goals from Amayah Burt, Anisa Seon added 10 goals, and Jamir Hatherley scored 6 times, with Debre Evans named the teams MVP, the North Village Lady Rams got 27 goals from Darrika Simons, with Zhanae Simmons adding 9 goals, and Coriah Simmons scored 5 goals.

MVP Danielle Raynor scored 43 goals to lead the Phoenix Heat to a 56 – 37 win over the Lindos Tigers, Ebonie Cox added 13 goals. The Lindos Tigers got 25 goals from Jahtuere Trott, while Candace Paynter added 10 goals, and Donnisha Gardner scored twice.
