The Bermuda National Athletics Association’s (BNAA) Cross Country season will get underway on Saturday, November 6th at the Botanical Gardens, hosted by the Bermuda Pacers Track Club and not at the Arboretum as previously reported.
The event also has a new start time of 8:30 am, to allow for Antigen Lateral Flow testing.
All BNAA events are Antigen Lateral Flow (ALF) Negative Test Results Events.
Antigen Lateral Flow (ALF) Negative Test Results are required to participate in the event.
The BNAA will provide test kits for participants/officials/volunteers at the event.
Participants/officials/volunteers are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to the start event to allow for testing.
Parents are administered tests to their children and adults do self-administration.
BNAA Race Day Update
Step 1
Go to the Check-in tent collect your AFL test kit
Step 2
Perform an AFL test and show AFL negative results to designated officials, to receive your wristband and fix it to your wrist.
If you have a positive result you will not be allowed to compete in the event.
We ask that you leave immediately and contact your doctor and/or the Covid-19 help desk at (441) 444 2498 for assistance.
Step 3
Proceed to number pick-up.
Show wristband to number pick-up official, Give your name to receive your number
Step 4
Go to the start line when your race is called
Mask to be worn up until the start of your race and after completion.
Everyone is asked to adhere to all covid-19 social distance regulations (6ft-6ft).
